The Golden Man Exhibition Heads For Malaysia

The Kazakh National Museum will open an exhibition named “Great Steppe: History and Culture” in the Museums Department in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition will be available from 1 to 31 October 2019 as part of the international project “The Golden Man Procession through the World Museums”, Strategy2050.kz informs.

They in the National Museum informed that the exhibition’s objective is to familiarize the foreign audience with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. The Golden Man will be on display during the exhibition.
This Golden Man was found in the Issyk kurgan as well as over 4 thousand items made of gold. Among them were items, decorations, jewels, and household items.
The centerpiece is the silver bowl with an inscription written in the runic alphabet – one of the oldest writings found this area.
346 exhibits from the Kazakh National Museum will be on display at the exhibition, including the masterpieces of the Kazakh ancient and medieval art.
