Kazakhstan hosts the 1st International Quran Competition

Astana – On November 1-2, 2023, the 1st international Koran competition will be held in Astana on the occasion of our national holiday – Republic Day, organized by the Religious Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan.

Elderly people from 30 countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, America, Arab Republic of Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Kuwait, Guinea will compete in complete recitation of the Quran in the first international Quran competition, which will be held at the Republican Main Mosque near KMDB. World famous and experienced elders from Turkey, Arab Republic of Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Republic of Uzbekistan will judge the international Quran competition.

The two-day Koran competition will be broadcast live on the Muftiyat’s own TV channel “Munara TV”, on the YouTube channel “Muftiyat KMDB”, and on the pages of the official social networks of the Religious Board.
